Opus 88 Omar

About a month ago, I decided that I was going to give myself a Christmas present and so I ordered 6 pens at one time. I’m still not sure what got into me, but my collection blossomed from around 40 pens to over 60 pens in a period of less than 30 days. It’s all a whirlwind now and I’m not even sure now what went into my decisions to buy each individual pen. I think the reason I bought this pen is because it was pretty and it’s an eyedropper pen that holds about seven gallons of ink.

Opus 88 pens are another good brand from Taiwan. Founded in 1988 as an OEM/ODM supplier (that’s jargon, you may want to look it up on Google). Almost all of the reviews that I’ve read have been very positive.

This pen is huge. It’s the biggest pen that I have in my current collection. That being said, it’s not too heavy or bulky to write with. As I have mentioned previously, even though I have XL hands, I tend to prefer a smaller pen. So, I don’t always reach for this pen just because of my own bias. However, every time that I do reach for this pen, I am reminded that it is a really good pen. It lays down a solid and consistent line that tends to be on the wetter side. I’ve only inked it with Waterman Serenity Blue. I tend to ink every new pen with this ink because it performs so well. But this pen holds a LOT of ink, so it may be quite a while until I try another ink. If you do not mind an oversized pen, this is a good pen that looks modern and writes very well. (Buy Here)
