I definitely received a lot of pushback in my last review of the Lamy 2000. In order to give Lamy some love, I decided to review my other Lamy pen, which I really like. I first purchased the Studio because the 2000 was not in my price range. For the quality of pen you get, the Lamy Studio is good value. The fine nib writes a little broader than I prefer, so I inked it with Iroshizuku Ina-Ho ink, which needs a broader nib to show off its depth.
I love the design and color of the Lamy Studio Dark Brown. I get more compliments on this pen than most of the other pens in my collection. It is very professional, but also rugged and good as a daily writer.
If you are looking for a great pen under $60, I highly recommend the Lamy Studio. Buy Here
